UC San Diego Oceanids presents a talk by John E. Schwarz, Ph.D., “Reclaiming Our Freedom.” Dr. Schwarz is Professor Emeritus, Department of Political Science, College of Social and Behavioral Science, University of Arizona. “Most of us believe that our notion of freedom is pretty much the same as the Founders envisioned. We’re dead wrong, though, and that error lies behind the greatest domestic problems our nation is experiencing today. Discovering what freedom actually meant to the Founders also reveals why today’s problems keep getting worse and how to solve them.”
