Globalization is a word often bandied about, but what does it really mean for the average citizen? How does globalization affect labor and consumer markets and standards of living? GPS faculty and alumni will take a closer look across countries and consider solutions for increasing the positive effects of our increasingly global economy. Designing Policy for a Global Impact is a quarterly webinar series exploring the School’s research findings and their impact on policy choices across the globe. In collaboration with UC San Diego Alumni and Graduate Division, each webinar will take a closer look at a topic currently under discussion in the public domain. The webinar format allows us to reach across the continents and engage an audience far beyond the shores of San Diego – perfect for alumni interested in staying up to date on the latest research coming out of GPS.
