Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein: Bicentennial Celebration

Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein: Bicentennial Celebration

Join the UC San Diego Library as we celebrate the bicentennial of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein! Published in 1818, the classic novel is considered by many to be the first piece of science fiction. Submit short works of prose or poetry that are no more than 200 words. You’ll have the opportunity to read your work or have someone read it aloud for you! Please email your work to spaulson@ucsd.edu by or before Oct. 29 and let us know if you plan to read aloud. Enjoy experimental libations at our refreshment laboratory and eerie music from our haunting house band! This event is free and open to the public.
