Sounding Board starts the New Year with a surprise event at the Faculty Club: a performing arts roundtable discussion led by Executive Director for ArtPower at UC San Diego, Jordan Peimer. Jordan will share a video overview of the performing artists who are brought to campus. Internationally-acclaimed chamber music ensembles and dance and music performers come from around the world – this year includes Poland, France, Africa, Cuba, New Orleans and more. We’ll engage in a brainstorming session on how Oceanids can engage with ArtPower and its vision to develop more empathetic students and community members through their participation in high quality artistic programs.
