ISEI (Institute for Supply Chain Excellence & Innovation) at UC San Diego presents
Oceanside Chat Season II - Episode 7: Sustainable Supply Chain
Our guest is Dan Bartel, Chief Procurement Officer at Schneider Electric, a multinational company providing digital automation solutions to empower all to make the most of our energy and resources and bridge progress and sustainability. Join us on April 13 to learn more!
Schneider Electric was ranked the world’s most sustainable company in 2021 by Corporate Knights Global 100 Index. We look forward to chatting with Dan Bartel, to explore how much impact the Supply Chain has on sustainability. What can we do to make a difference?
Partnering with business leadership, Dan drives the development and deployment of processes, tools, systems, and organizational competence to manage change towards a supply base as an extension of the company enterprise. Procurement in Schneider Electric enables growth through supplier quality and innovation, drives breakthrough impact on the bottom line through cost and cash improvement, and supports the sustainability agenda via responsible sourcing and product compliance.
Our editor and host, Helen Wang is the current Chair of ISEI, a professor teaching Emotional Intelligence and Innovation to Market at UC San Diego, a supply chain researcher and architect, and a veteran from Silicon Valley’s high tech industry. In Season II, Helen designed “each episode as a master class with the best leaders within the field of the value supply chain.”
ISEI’s Oceanside Chat: A New L.I.T.E. was created to inspire, motivate, and provide insight through industry professionals sharing personal stories, career aspirations, and practical advice. Season II presents a series of masterclasses and new perspectives about “Combating Supply Chain Crises”. To find out more, listen now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
