Living between three countries, experiences, and cultures, I have found beauty within my own chaos. As a Dominican and Mexican Indigenous artist, I reflect on my ancestor's past, present, and future. In my collection Muerte Sagrada of paintings, sculptures, linocut prints, and photography I have focused on the topic of death and pain revolving around our life and our connection to it. We live our lives planning all the big events we wish to experience; birth, love, a fulfilling career, and the growth of our identity. But what about the horrors we ignore?
