Dr. Amanda Gosman, UC San Diego Professor of Plastic Surgery, and the ConnectMed International team will collaborate with a team of medical professionals from Tijuana, Mexico and Mexico City to provide multidisciplinary surgical care in Tijuana. Visiting Professor Dr. Alex Cardenas, Chief of the Facial Palsy and Peripheral Nerve Surgery Division at Hospital Gea Gonzalez in Mexico City, will lead a presentation and perform a microsurgical facial reanimation procedure with gracilis muscle. This live interactive presentation and featured surgery will be broadcast to UC San Diego and other remote participants from Clìnica CER, our partner site in Tijuana.
