PowerPoint: Functionality & Application

About the Program: Get more out of Microsoft Excel® 2013: more productivity and better answers for greater success. This course brings together all the intensely useful knowledge you need: insights, techniques, tips, and shortcuts. Get comfortable with its updated interface and leverage Does PowerPoint mystify you?  Have you wondered how to make your PowerPoint presentation better?  Have you thought about how to better interact with your slides?  Have you considered ways to organize your presentation so your ideas are communicated more effectively? In this course, we will learn about the functionality of PowerPoint, including:

  • How to Create a Basic Presentation
  • Planning and Preparing a Presentation
  • Illustrations and Infographics
  • Enhancing with Multimedia
  • Creating Text, Charts, Tables, and Graphs
  • Animation: Engaging the Audience
  • Customizing the Slide Show
  • Collaborating, Preparing, Securing, and Sharing a Presentation
Then, we will learn techniques for making a great presentation including:
  • Creating Ideas, not Slides
  • How not to put all of your words on the Slides
  • Planning your presentation
  • Telling your story
  • Difference between a speech and a presentation including your audience
