11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Imagine if you had to eat in water…that wouldn’t be an easy task! Animals, including Mantis Shrimp, eat every meal while submerged and have come up with unique adaptations to be more successful whilst dining. SEA Days features multi-generational learning about cutting-edge research at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego. Monthly events focus on current ocean topics with hands-on exploration, special activities and a chance to interact with Scripps Oceanography scientists.
