Dr. Shim is Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of T&R Biofab Co. Ltd., a rapid growing international biomedical engineering company. Their unique technology focuses on cell-printed medical devices such as biolinks, materials and software that is capable of printing human organs and tissues in vitro for clinical transplantation. His research interest at The Tech University of Korea lie in translational regenerative medicine on 3D bioprinted tissue engineering, 3D cellular shaped cell therapy using 3D bio printing technology and decellularized extracellular matrix as a scaffold for regenerative medicine.
