Soft Skills Training with Leaders from Amazon, Dexcom, GSK, Illumina, Resmed, UCSD IT

Join us at the Career Center for a panel where life sciences and tech leaders, including hiring managers, will discuss what they think key soft skills are needed to gain a competitive edge for career success (soft skills = skills beyond technical skills, such as communication, leadership, using storytelling to present data, giving/receiving critiques). Breakout sessions will happen after the panel, where you will practice certain soft skills in a small group lead by one of the panelists and will receive feedback from your peers and the panelist.

Please come prepared with questions for the panelists and expect to participate in the breakout sessions. Dinner is provided. This free event is open to all undergraduate and graduate students, and alumni. Register on Handshake. First come, first serve; registration does not guarantee admittance. It is suggested that you arrive early to the event.

***Those who attend the full event will have the opportunity to submit their resume to hiring manager panelists.***
