Professor of Neuroscience and Neurology at both the University of Copenhagen, and the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). At Copenhagen, he Is Director of its Center for Translational Neuromedicine and a consultant neurologist at the Copenhagen University Hospital. At Rochester, he is the URMC Distinguished Professor of Neuroscience and Neurology, co-directs its Center for Translational Neuromedicine, holds its Dean Zutes Chair in Biology of the Aging Brain, and is an attending neurologist at Strong Memorial Hospital.
