Jun 4, 2019–Jun 4, 2019 from 8:30am–12:00pm
Tuesday, June 4, 2019 - AM workshop for people managers, PM workshop for individual contributors
The world can be a very challenging place - school, our jobs, starting a business, and life in general can all seem impossible to deal with at times. That is why the world needs positive leadership and cohesive, effective teams more than ever, to overcome the very real challenges that can get in our way.
Shola Richards will introduce workshop participants to the spirit of Ubuntu, an African word that is often translated to mean “I am, because we are.” This simple but powerful message will serve as the core message of these workshops on how to build cohesive, effective teams that embrace positivity, creativity, innovation, and connectedness. Shola will introduce the eight keys that must be present on any team that wants to leave a positive impact on the world, in one workshop for people managers, and another for individual contributors.
