Jan 20, 2023–Jan 20, 2023 from 3:00pm–7:00pm
The Anthropology, Performance, and Technology Program (APT) of the Jacobs School of Engineering invites you to a screening of FASHION REIMAGINED, a documentary film that follows Amy Powney, a daughter of environmental activists, during her trajectory from outsider to industry leader as she sets out to create a fashion collection that's ethical and sustainable at every level. This will be followed by commentary from guest panelists including Dmitri Deheyn, a research scientist at the Marine Biology Research Division of Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Diego and a representative at prAna Living. This interactive panel discussion will be moderated by the Director of APT, Hortense Gerardo. Panelists will share their unique perspectives as they relate to the film and audience members will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and ask questions during a Q&A.
There will be a reception afterwards with light refreshment.
