Apr 10, 2025–Apr 10, 2025 from 12:00pm–1:00pm
Text analysis is a rapidly growing field, yet finding suitable datasets, especially in news coverage, can be a challenge. In this hands-on workshop, participants will be introduced to the TDM Studio platform and learn how to effectively search for content within newspaper databases, create a text corpus and import clean, ready-to-analyze datasets into a Jupyter Notebook for in-depth analysis.
Whether you’re following along with the provided dataset or working with your own, you’ll gain valuable skills in structuring and analyzing textual data.
For those seeking non-programming alternatives, the workshop will also demonstrate how to utilize TDM Studio’s built-in large language models (LLMs) to perform text analysis—no coding required!
No prior experience is necessary. Join us to dive into the world of text analysis in an engaging, interactive environment!
