The 4th World Parkinson Congress: A Review for the Parkinson’s Community

Irene Litvan, MD, director of the Movement Disorder Center at UC San Diego Health, and David Higgins, PhD, Parkinson’s patient advocate, will present new information on Parkinson’s disease shared at the 4th World Parkinson Congress held in Portland, Ore., in September 2016. Held only once every three years, the event serves as an international forum for dialogue on the latest scientific discoveries, medical practices, and caregiver initiatives related to Parkinson’s disease. The event brings together physicians, neuroscientists, and a broad range of other health professionals, as well as care partners and people with PD.
