The Continuous Clapback, Part II: The Legacy of Local Activism

The African American Studies Program presents three different representations of Black women community activists. Wilnisha “Tru7h” Sutton (local activist & organizer), N. Diane Moss (People’s Produce Farmer’s Market & Project New Village) and Dr. Sharon Whitehurst-Payne (San Diego Unified School District Council Member) will share their experiences as San Diego leaders who work with local communities to support and strengthen families and schools in urban areas.
