Pacific Leadership Fellow Charles Dallara, Chairman of the Americas and Advisory Partner of Partners Group, as well as Director of the Bank of Nova Scotia and Director of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), will discuss the Bretton Woods international financial system, its breakdown in the 1970s, the evolution over the last half century and what may lie ahead. He will cover exchange rate arrangements, financial flows, macroeconomic policy and trade issues.
Doors will open and light refreshments available at 4:30 p.m. The event will start with a talk at 5 p.m.
