Surplus Sales is excited to announce that we are updating our warehouse store policy to allow walk-in shopping without an appointment, and we are extending in-person shopping hours to five days a week. Please note that appointments are still required to coordinate pick-up times for auction winners and online purchase orders.

Mark your calendars: Starting July 1st, 2024, you can visit the Surplus Sales store (map) Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Parking is free, with up-close parking near our entrance gate reserved just for you. 

While clients can continue to enjoy the convenience of shopping and bidding online at surplus.ucsd.edu, offering an in-person shopping experience for those who prefer it is essential when selling used goods, as it boosts confidence in purchases.

Giving our clients more opportunities to peruse our inventory, test items, purchase goods, and access our services in person enhances the shopping experience and better supports sustainable purchasing for all communities.
