Mar 23, 2023–Mar 23, 2023 from 9:00am–10:00am
While crop prices have started falling again after peaking around the time of Russia's invasion of Ukraine a year ago, geopolitical uncertainty, volatile commodity markets and climate change continue to pose threats. In this webinar, our panel will discuss the trade dimension, both as a cause of food insecurity and a solution. The Black Sea Grain Initiative that has helped Ukrainian grain and fertilizer exports through the Black Sea since July 2022 is up for its second renewal in mid-March, shortly before the webinar, so the geopolitical drivers of trade will receive particular attention.
