Intended for: those who teach, or would like to teach, in the workplace. This workshop focuses on the essential principles of teaching adults, and will increase your awareness of your own learning style and how that may influence your teaching. It is recommended that you take this course prior to Training One-on-One and Designing Workplace Training. Topics include: * Philosophy of adult education * Principles of adult learning * Learning style This workshop includes resources that will enable you to assess and interpret your own learning preferences. • Login to the UC Learning Center by going to https://uclearning.ucsd.edu, or through the Personal Tools menu on Blink, using your Single Sign-On.
• Click the FIND A COURSE button, and type the workshop title or keyword in the search box, then click the Enter button.
• Using the Select button to the right of the activity name, click REGISTER in order to see the date(s)
• Select the offering of the activity you wish to attend by selecting the small circle next to the bluebox.
• Click SUBMIT to finalize your registration
