UC San Diego Information Session: California Climate Initiative
The California Legislature has allocated $75 million or more to invest in research that will have a swift and measurable impact on climate resilience. This session will provide information about the legislation and begin to prepare our campus to apply for these funds.
The funding priorities will be:
- Research showing a measurable impact on CA climate practices in one year or less
- Engagement of multiple UC Campuses
- Engagement with state agencies
Join us to learn from campus experts about priority areas, how to connect with state agencies, exemplary campus research efforts and how to prepare before the proposal process officially begins.
