UC San Diego Visual Arts Group 2016 Summer Art Show Reception. The V.A.G. Annual Summer Art Show features works from UC San Diego Staff, Faculty, Students, Alumni, Emeriti and Retirees. Come meet the Artists on June 24th and ‘See The Other Side’ of our UC San Diego Community. UC San Diego Visual Arts Group Founded in 2002 by Nelda Hann and Patty Arnett, the Visual Arts Group continues to contribute to the UC San Diego community through the efforts of its active members. The first UC San Diego art show was held 13 years ago in May 2003. This group meets regularly during the last week of each month at noon-time in the Student Services Center. Annual art shows on the UC San Diego campus are coordinated through an Art Show Committee of active artist members. Please consider joining us. The V.A.G.
