The Chief Information Security Officer will discuss electronic access and security, as well as the interplay of how software and information interact. The Privacy Office will discuss the concepts we must all consider when handling information and data. UCOP’s Records Manager will discuss information management best practices, including how we keep information and when can we destroy information. Finally, the University Archivist will talk about how to identify and preserve those few records that are of enduring historical value. Lunch and light refreshments to be served.
