The 2022 UC San Diego Pain and Neuroscience Symposium, sponsored by the Department of Anesthesiology, will be held on November 9, 2022. There will be up lectures and corresponding moderated discussion by an impressive list of internationally recognized pain focused neuroscientists that will discuss a wide range of topics from neural mechanisms of chronic pain to appreciating the relationship between pain and consciousness. We hope for a very rich audience integrated discussion to best appreciate how neuroscience can be incorporated to assuage pain.
