Join the UC San Diego Career Center and UC San Diego Alums to learn about their law school application experience and being in law school as well as working in the field of law.  The first part of this event will be a panel with panelists answering questions and then there will be breakout rooms where you can ask the panelists your questions.

• *Lindsay DeRight.  UCSD BS ‘15/MS ’16 Physiology and Neuroscience.  Graduated Berkeley Law 2021.  Current: Deputy Attorney General, California.  Past:  Judicial Law Clerk in the Alaska Supreme Court, 2021-22, and CA District Court for Southern District, 2022-23.
• *Nyssa P. Chopra. UCSD ’07 Political Science.  Graduated University of Washington Law '07.  Current:  Privacy and tech attorney at Perkins Coie LLP, Denver. Corporate counsel, Microsoft 2018-2020. 
• Tommy Jung. UCSD ’21. Political Science: Data Analytics.  Graduated Berkeley Law 2026. Current: Graduate Law Clerk, County of Alameda County Counsel. 2024 - Housing Clinical Intern, East Bay Community Law Center. 2025 - Code Enforcement Intern, San Francisco City Attorney's Office.
• *Negar Saatchi. UCSD '21 Business Psychology. Graduated Yale Law School 2026. Current: Studying for the CA Bar and joining Sullivan & Cromwell LA as an associate this fall. Past: 2025 Summer Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell, NYC
