Dec 10, 2020–Dec 10, 2020 from 5:00pm–6:00pm
Headed by Dr. Shin, the Jimmy Anklesaria Presidential Chair; Tom Linton, and Helen Wang from ISEI (Institute of Supply Chain Excellence and Innovation) at UC San Diego's Rady School of Management, we aim to solve real-world problems with complex projects. We measure our success by predicting industry movements and emerging trends through data analytics within the supply chain.
This research methodology collects qualitative and quantitative data through surveys, interviews, and analytics. Many industry-leading companies worldwide and their executives have participated in this project and provided insightful feedback and invaluable support. Moreover, students utilize the newly developed "Five-Dimensional Model" to analyze four countries' competitiveness, assess the COVID-19 effect, anticipate challenges of foreign trade policies, and outline rebalancing options among the US, Mexico, India, and China.
Phase I of this project is managed by a diverse group of interdisciplinary UCSD students: Marina Shimizu, Daniel Henderson, Lorena Arellano, Avinav Kartikay, and Ying Zeng from Rady School of Management, and Ethan Roseman from the School of Global Policy and Strategy.
The project is Authored by Ashmi Piparia and the Supply Chain Team at Anklesaria Group.
The PGM team is very excited to share our findings with all participants and contributors to show our gratitude and appreciation. The presentation will last 45 minutes and followed by a 15 minute Q&A session.
The presentation will take place on Thursday, December 10, 5-6pm PST.
