 mputing Center have partnered over the past five years to support a studen
 t team competing in the Student Cluster Competition. During this 48-hour c
 hallenge\, students build and optimize high-performance systems while coll
 aborating under pressure on real scientific workloads. The team has ranked
  1st in the U.S. for the past five consecutive years and 3rd international
 ly this year\, with 3/6 students identifying as female. Hear directly from
  the students about their experiences\, how they got involved in HPC\, and
  how opportunities like SCC can support and empower women pursuing careers
  in the field.\n\nAbout our speakers:\n\nGauri Renjith is a 3rd year compu
 ter science/bioinformatics student at UCSD. She was the team captain for S
 CC this past season\, coordinating vendor relations\, sponsorship outreach
 \, and leading the team to a strong finish at SCC25. Gauri is passionate a
 bout applying HPC to scientific research\, particularly for machine learni
 ng and the biological sciences.\n Cecilia Li is a 2nd year electrical engi
 neering student at UCSD. She worked on paper reproducibility during SCC25\
 , and was heavily involved in sponsorship outreach as the Supercomputing C
 lub's outreach coordinator. Her interests lie in digital ICs\, ASICs\, and
  High-Performance Computing.\n Shing Hung is a 4th year electrical enginee
 ring student at UCSD with diverse experience across embedded systems\, har
 dware design\, and HPC. She was the vice captain for SCC this past season\
 , managing logistics alongside competition preparations.
