Join the Cross-Cultural Center at UC San Diego, in collaboration with the Black Diaspora African American Studies Program, the Black Student Union, and the UCSD Bookstore, for an evening of community dialogue with renowned civil rights attorney and author Ben Crump, who has represented the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and more.

Drawing from his debut novel Worse Than a Lie, Attorney Crump will engage in a critical conversation, moderated by Dr. Dennis Childs, Program Director of Black Diaspora and African American Studies, exploring storytelling as a tool for justice, accountability, and empowerment.
