Mandeville Auditorium is the university’s largest indoor performance venue with nearly 800 seats, managed by the Department of Music. An average of 60 performances are hosted in the space each year—from theatre to concerts and dance as well as conferences and lectures. Designed by prominent Southern California architect A. Quincy Jones, Mandeville Auditorium stands out among UC San Diego's buildings representing modern and brutalist architecture.
