The Qualcomm Institute (QI) at UC San Diego harnesses technology to jumpstart innovation in areas including culture, energy, the environment and health. While helping to prepare the next generation of California’s high-tech workforce, QI brings together researchers, artists, students and entrepreneurs from across disciplines to tackle the grand challenges facing society today. Spaces include Gallery QI, the startup incubator QI Innovation Space and shared services such as the Nano3 cleanroom, circuits labs and recording studio.
