For the first time ever Birch Aquarium is offering extended summer hours. From July 1-August 31, 2021, the aquarium, which has traditionally closed at 5 p.m., will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

The Tritons open their first Division I season on Thursday, August 19, when UC San Diego welcomes Cal to Triton Soccer Stadium. Action is set to get underway at 1 p.m., and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Admission is free.
