The UC San Diego Library is hosting Ebb and Flow: Giant Kelp Forests through Art, Science and the Archives, an exhibit curated by Oriana Poindexter ’15, Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO) alumna and artist, through July 7, 2024.
Birch Aquarium presents Hold Fast, an immersive art installation that explores our local kelp forests and climate change through the lens of local artists and scientists using unique skills and talents to take climate action. Included with admission.
This interactive training is designed to assist faculty and staff in recognizing and supporting students in distress. This is an excellent training for any UCSD staff or faculty member that has high interactions with UCSD students.

Doc. dr. Boštjan Bugarič is an architect, researcher, curator, critic and editor. He is an editor at the open source community Architectuul in Berlin. He is a professor at the Visual art and Design department at the Faculty of Pedago in Koper.
This lecture by Prof. Richard Turner, University of Iowa, showcases the music and religions of Black New Orleans. The African retentions of music and religion in New Orleans are highlighted in relation to popular performances and spirituality.
