Located within UC San Diego’s Structural and Materials Engineering (SME) Building, the SME Gallery is a space for exciting exhibitions that often merge the arts and engineering. The Department of Visual Arts hosts MFA thesis exhibitions, undergraduate class exhibitions, visiting artist talks and more. The gallery is also connected to a black box presentation theater, where artists discuss their work with audiences.
