Join the 21st Century China Center and UC San Diego Library for a book talk on “Assignment China: An Oral History of American Journalists in the People’s Republic,” followed by a conversation with author and journalist Mike Chinoy.
In this talk, former CNN Beijing Bureau Chief Mike Chinoy will tell the story of American journalists who covered China in their own words.
A reception and a book signing for in-person event will follow immediately after the talk.
