"Illumination" is positioned squarely at the intersection of art, science, and technology, and uses these interconnected fields to boost public understanding of contemporary issues like climate change and explore solutions, both real and imagined.
Without a good story, even the best of ideas can fall flat. In this final design jam, participants will develop pitch materials, including a poster and a short elevator pitch, to effectively communicate the problem and proposed solutions. Attend this jam session to polish your pitch materials and to help prepare for the online D4SD Summit, where participants will connect with stakeholders to translate proposals into action. In light of COVID-19, our community faces new and unprecedented challenges. Businesses are struggling, educators are teaching online, individuals are dealing with new sources of stress, and many are home alone looking for ways to cope and help. As one way to provide support for our community in these trying times, D4SD is offering online collaborative design jams!
