Sun Eaters is a series of sculptures that sense the invisible bioelectric waves present in all living beings and translate it into visible light for us to see. The performance encourages a moment of reflection regarding our complex present-day world.
Dr. Ting performs queer readings of the everyday in fiction by Japanese authors Kawakami Hiromi and Ekuni Kaori, drawing out representations of intimacy built on smallness, distance, and the mundane, which are often tinged with loneliness and grief.
